1. About PillThinker

PillThinker is designed to help users organize medication information, reminders, health logs, health records, and related information. PillThinker may also provide informational medication content, drug interaction screening tools, AI explanations, provider-sharing tools, and user-authorized health data imports.

2. Not Medical Advice

PillThinker is not a healthcare provider, pharmacy, insurance company, emergency medical service, or substitute for professional medical care. PillThinker does not provide medical diagnosis, treatment, prescribing, or professional medical advice.

Medication information, reminders, AI explanations, drug interaction warnings, imported records, and health summaries are informational and organizational tools only. They may be incomplete, inaccurate, outdated, or not appropriate for your personal medical situation.

Always confirm medical decisions, medication directions, dosage, allergies, interactions, and treatment plans with a physician, pharmacist, or qualified healthcare professional. In an emergency, call emergency services immediately.

3. No Healthcare Provider Relationship

Use of PillThinker does not create a physician-patient, pharmacist-patient, therapist-patient, clinician-patient, or other healthcare provider relationship between you and PillThinker.

4. User Responsibility

You are responsible for:
- entering accurate information;
- reviewing imported or AI-generated information for accuracy;
- confirming medication and health information with qualified professionals;
- keeping your login credentials secure;
- using PillThinker only for lawful purposes.

5. Health Data Connections

If you connect MyChart/Epic, NextGen, or another health account, you authorize PillThinker to access and process the information you approve for app functionality, such as importing medications, allergies, conditions, observations, or health records. You are responsible for reviewing imported information for accuracy.

You may revoke access through the relevant healthcare portal or authorization settings when available. Revoking access may stop future imports, but it may not automatically delete information already imported into PillThinker.

6. AI Features

PillThinker may include AI-powered features. AI output may be wrong, incomplete, outdated, or not tailored to your medical condition. You agree not to rely on AI output as medical advice or as a replacement for a licensed professional.

7. Accounts and Security

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password. You agree to notify us if you believe your account has been accessed without authorization.

8. Prohibited Uses

You agree not to misuse the app, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with the service, reverse engineer protected parts of the service, submit false information, violate laws, or use PillThinker to harm others.

9. Availability and Changes

We may change, suspend, discontinue, or limit features at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or error-free operation.

10. Third-Party Services

PillThinker may rely on third-party services such as Firebase/Google, Apple, Epic/MyChart, NextGen, healthcare organizations, and analytics or hosting providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy policies.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, PillThinker and its owners, employees, contractors, and service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special, punitive, or health-related damages arising from your use of the app, reliance on information, missed reminders, imported data errors, AI output, or medication decisions.

12. Disclaimer of Warranties

PillThinker is provided “as is” and “as available.” We do not guarantee that the app will meet your needs, be error-free, identify every drug interaction, or provide complete or accurate health information.

13. Data Deletion

You may request account or data deletion by contacting support@getpillthinker.com. Some information may be retained when required or permitted by law, security needs, audit obligations, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, contractual obligations, or legitimate business purposes.

14. Updates to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date and may provide additional notice.
